Privacy Policy

Who we are

Seminole Water Co, Inc. ("Seminole Water Co," "we," "us") is an in-home water treatment company serving Seminole and all of Pinellas County, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through our website (seminolewaterco.com) and our services, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a water test, apply to our founding program, or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, email address, phone number, home address, whether your home is on city or well water, and anything you write in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic, non-identifying usage information through analytics, such as which pages you visit, your general location, and your device and browser type. We use Google Analytics for this.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request and schedule your water test or service
• To provide quotes, proposals, and the services you ask for
• To follow up with you about your project
• To understand how our website is used and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How we share your information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Our form provider (Formspree) delivers your form submissions to us.
• Google Analytics helps us understand website usage.
• The accredited laboratory that analyzes your water sample receives the information needed to produce your report (such as your address and sample details).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We never sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you tick the box asking us to text you, we will send you messages about your water test at the number you gave us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and the fact that you agreed to be texted are used only so that we can contact you about your water test.

Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of requesting a water test or of buying anything from us.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites work and measure usage. We use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. If we advertise on platforms such as Google or Facebook, those platforms may also use cookies to measure and target ads.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep reasonable business and legal records, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Just email us at info@seminolewaterco.com and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our site may link to other websites, such as our Facebook page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
