Almost every water company "tests" your water with a meter or a color-changing kit designed to alarm you. We do something different: we send your water to an accredited laboratory and hand you the actual results.
The test should answer a question, not sell a system
A TDS meter or test strip can be made to look scary in any kitchen in America. It tells you almost nothing useful, but it's great at creating fear. We refuse to use them as sales tools.
Instead, your sample goes to an EPA/NELAP-accredited laboratory. You get a certified report with real numbers, paperwork tracking your sample from your sink to the lab, and a straight answer about your water, even when that answer is "you don't need anything."

I come get the sample
About 15 minutes at your place. I run the cold tap the way the lab requires, fill the bottle, and fill out the tracking form with you. You keep a copy.
Same day to the lab
Your sample goes out the same day to an EPA/NELAP-accredited laboratory, tracked so nothing gets lost along the way.
The lab does the testing
They run the panel and issue the official report, not me. It usually takes 10–15 business days, so no, I won't have an answer that afternoon.
We go through it together
I'll sit down and explain every line in plain English: what's high, what that means in your house, and what's honestly not worth worrying about.
What the analysis covers
A typical panel looks at the parameters that actually affect your home, your water, and your plumbing.
Hardness
Calcium and magnesium, the cause of scale, spotting, and shortened appliance life.
Chlorine
Disinfectant carried over from municipal treatment that affects how your water tastes and smells.
Total dissolved solids
A measure of everything dissolved in your water, useful context for taste and treatment.
Iron & metals
Staining and taste culprits, screened to see whether targeted treatment is warranted.
Bacteria screen
A coliform screen for peace of mind, especially relevant for homes on well water.
pH
Acidity and corrosivity, which influence both taste and the wear on your plumbing.
